How we handle your details

Who is responsible

Villa Jasmine, Platanidia, South Pelion, Greece (registration AMA 00001979130), acts as the data controller. For anything on this page, write to villajasmine@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you send a booking request we receive the dates you selected, the number of adults and children, your name, your phone or WhatsApp number, and your country of origin. Nothing else is required, and we do not ask for payment details on this site.

The calendar itself reads availability from our own listings on Airbnb and Booking.com. It shows which nights are taken; it sends nothing about you to those platforms.

Why we need it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, hold the dates while we talk, and — if you decide to come — arrange check-in. Your country of origin helps us answer in the right language and prepare the guest register required of Greek accommodation providers. We rely on your consent for the enquiry itself, and on our legitimate interest in running the house for the correspondence that follows.

Who sees it

Only Evangelos and the family who look after the villa. Your request reaches us as an email, and two providers handle it on the way: Vercel, who host this site and run the small program that receives the form (in their Frankfurt region, inside the European Union), and Resend, who deliver the email. Resend is a United States company and processes the message only to deliver it, under a data processing agreement. Neither keeps it for their own purposes. We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for marketing unless you ask us to keep you posted.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a stay are deleted within twelve months. Records of an actual stay are kept for as long as Greek tax and tourism rules require, then deleted.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of what we hold, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. One email is enough.
